Upon arriving at Portsalon Luxury Camping, we were greeted with a warm welcome drink and instantly felt at home in the cozy yurt. the bed, adorned with crisp linens, was incredibly comfortable, and the charming wood stove added a touch of Irish homeliness to the space. the view from our yurt, overlooking the rolling hills and sweeping coastline, was simply breathtaking. Helen and Sean, the gracious hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even surprised us with fresh vegetables from their garden, adding a delightful touch to our self-catered meals in the well-equipped kitchen. the communal lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby beach and harbor. The absence of electricity in the yurt turned out to be a blessing in disguise, allowing us to fully disconnect and revel in the tranquility of our surroundings. the soft glow of the woodburning stove created a cozy ambiance during the evenings, perfect for sharing stories and relishing the simplicity of life off the grid. Portsalon Luxury Camping not only offers comfortable accommodation but also stunning sea and mountain views that truly showcase the rugged beauty of Ireland. the shared garden, complete with garden furniture, was a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a barbecue in the evening. With free WiFi available in public areas, we could stay connected if needed while still immersing ourselves in the natural wonders that surrounded us. It provided the ideal setting for us to recharge, explore the enchanting Donegal coastline, and create lasting memories in the heart of Ireland's stunning landscape.
